Overview
The application is divided into two parts: comic cutter and comic viewer. For the comic cutter, it is used to cut the original comic image in several panels and order the panels, and then the panels are outputted. For the comic viewer, it provides a convenient way for watching the comic panels in order.
Objectives
- Allow PDA users to read comics anytime and anywhere in a convenient way.Apply image processing techniques to avoid the time consuming labor intensive work.
- Develop an intelligent method to identify panels from each comic page instead of segmenting the comic pages one-by-one manually.
- Provide an automatic way to determine the correct panel reading order.
- Implement a PDA viewer to read the e-comic panels in the correct sequence.
- Analyze user behavior to customize parameters such as navigation, zooming and scrolling while reading comics.
