Recently, it is getting more and more popular for people to use handheld devices such as PDA or cellular phones to read digital comics (e-comics). Reading comics in PDA provides a way of recreation, however, due to restriction of screen size, it is rather inconvenient to read comic in PDA. As a result, we design an application to allow users read the panels in their PDAs in a much more convenient way.
In such application, the original page of the paper comic needs to be first scanned and then segmented into panels to fit into the small screen of the handheld device.
